Dear Parent,
The official window for receiving enrolment applications for the 2024 junior infant class in Spa N.S. will open on Wednesday January 10th 2024. Please note that Spa National School’s Admissions Policy for the school year 2024- 2025 was reviewed and amended recently by the B.O.M. in consultation with St Senan’s Education Office and the Department of Education.
Therefore, I would ask you to please read through this policy carefully to ensure that you are fully aware of the selection criteria and all other relevant details. All parents interested in applying for a place in our September 2024 junior infants’ class can now officially apply by completing the attached application form and returning it to the school before 2.00 p.m. on Thursday January 25th 2024.
Please note that every applicant will be required to supply written documentary proof (of the address indicated in the application form.) with their application form. No applications can be accepted after 2.00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25th 2024. Once the admissions window closes on January 25th, 2024, the Board of Management of Spa N.S. will then consider all applications received, apply the selected criteria as laid out in the revised school’s admission Policy and offer places in late-January 2024.
The successful applicants will have a brief period to formally accept or decline that offer. This deadline date will be set once the offers are sent out. Therefore, if you would like to apply for a place for the September 2024 class, please complete the attached application form and return it with the required written proof to the school asap. (Remember the deadline is January 25th 2024)
